Real Feedback from Our Customers

This soap handles everything that I can throw at it. I've washed fruits, vegetables and greasy pans with it. A little bit of it goes a long way. Even when mixed with some water, it still retains its cleaning strength. The olive oil content keeps my hands from drying out and I like the fact that the ingredients are super clean. A bottle lasts a long time, so I keep a bottle in the kitchen and one in the bathroom.

I'm a mother of a few kids of different ages and to say I need some relaxation from time to time is an understatement. Shower time is probably my favorite part of the day, it's when I get to unwind, relax and take a break from my busy day.

I've used a variety of soaps in the past from commercial type soaps that you buy at the big box stores and also some of the varieties on Amazon. I enjoyed this castile soap because it lathers very well and I feel it gives me a deep clean without drying out my skin. .

FAQ

Can I use Pura Vitalia Castile Soap for cleaning fruits and vegetables?

Yes! Dilute 1 teaspoon of soap in 4 cups of water. Soak produce for 5 minutes, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry. Our Organic formula rinses clean, leaving no chemical residues.

Is Pura Vitalia Castile Soap safe for septic systems?

Absolutely. The plant-based ingredients are fully biodegradable and won’t harm septic tanks or pipes. Avoid using with vinegar in septic systems, as it can disrupt bacterial balance.

How long does a bottle of Pura Vitalia Castile Soap typically last?

A 16 oz bottle lasts 2–3 months for a household of four (used daily for handwashing, dishes, and cleaning). Diluting it extends its use—1 bottle makes 4+ gallons of cleaner!

Does Pura Vitalia Castile Soap expire or have a shelf life?

Shelf life: 2 years unopened. Once opened, use within 1 year. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to maintain quality.

Can I use Pura Vitalia Castile Soap in a dishwasher?

Not recommended. It creates excess suds in dishwashers. Instead, mix with baking soda for handwashing dishes or use our DIY dish soap recipe (included in the free guide).

Are there any skin conditions where Pura Vitalia Castile Soap should be avoided?

For severe eczema, psoriasis, or open wounds, patch-test first. While gentle, undiluted use may dry sensitive skin. Consult a dermatologist for personalized advice.
